Located in the ground floor of Dubai Mall, this is one fine restaurant with a history, well here it goes..

The sauce “Café de Paris” developed by Mr. Boubier in 1930 to accompany the Faux Fillet Steak (Entrecôte) at his restaurant "Cafe de Paris" in Geneva enabled him to launch an astonishing concept offering a single menu formula that gained an immediate worldwide success.

The ingredients of this sauce are still secret till today. Mr. François Voulliamoz, the owner of the original Entrecôte “Café de Paris” restaurant in Geneva, Rue Mont Blanc is the only person in the world who holds the secret of this sauce as it originated in 1930.

I had gone to this beautifully decorated cafe for Breakfast, Christmas decorations  make this cafe look so European like and the base of the waterfall added more elegance to the restaurant.

So, the breakfast selection was decent, started off with a bread basket, which had freshly baked bread varieties and was served with imported butter, jam and honey, for AED 19 this was a decent selection. They have a selection of Cheese platter for AED 26 as well. 

Then I picked the Avocado and Smoked Salmon, which came with an option of multi grain bread or crispy potato roesti and fresly salads on the side. Truly loved the taste of this dish, Ample smoked Salmon was set on the roesti and topped with Avocado and two poached eggs. Delicious, as all the ingredients came into to play a fantatic tune in in each bite.

They served breakfast with Tea or Coffee and I asked for the tea, loved the presentation. Overall it was a nice time spent here. Loved the food, service and the ambiance.
