Fine Turkish Treat
Opened recently in the posh neighborhood in Al Safa. From the time you step in you will be transported to a whimsical era, filled with flowers and color pink. Its such a beautiful placee, and the more you sit and look around it grows on you. These guys knows how to deocate a place, kudos for that.
Started off with a welcome drink, sorry couldn't get the name but it was decent and then another drink, a milk/ curd kinda smooth drink. Then we proceeded to try other items on menu, the starters were nice, there were 2 types of cheese filled puff and a roll, and then the mutton kebbeh which was good too. The ingredients and presentation was on point.
The beetroot hummus was a delight. the flavours were ok, nothing extra ordinary but the presentation was beautiful. The avocado was nice, a tab bit spicy, was served with Nachos, loved it. The main was a full on table theatric, was called kwag al sultan, a nice dish with finely sliced mutton, cooked with with tomato, capsicum. The marination of the lamb was nice.
Overall the this place will surprise you in many levels. We need to highlight the service was excellent, the service by Hakkan was excellent, we had a fantastic experience.
