An Average Expereince
We had gone to Croft to celebrate our wedding anniversary last week, and this was one of the restaurants that was opened in the Dubai Marina area. This was the first time we went out after the slow return of the F&B outlets, welcoming customers. They have a wonderful outdoors with great views but unfortunately the day we went was windy, so we had to move in.
The whole dining experience has moved to a difference level, with menu's being printed on A4 sheets, food being served on thick paper plates, cutlery made up of wooden types. Now there is no joy in taking the phone out to take some pictures of the tempting dishes.
We ordered the Lentil soup, burrata caprese and the wagyu beef meat ball. The meat balls was ok and the rest of the food was below average. lacked flavour, we were not getting the fine taste at all.
For the mains we had Beef wellington, fish and chips, lamb chops and pan seared Salmon,
The food was ok but was a let down for the price you pay and for the reputation of this place that you come to enjoy.
