Socialicious
Nestled in a corner between by roads of the complex JVC area, Socialicious is a fine Asian Fusion restaurant. Its located at the Candor Castle Residence. A neatly designed place, every nook and corner has its own purpose. They have a long community table which can easily sit over 20 people, so at times when it get busy, customers are encouraged to sit together in the communal table, where they organically engage in conversing.
Started off with the burnt garlic soup. A veg soup with strong garlic flavours, a fine way to clear our throats, ready to take in the rest of the amazing dishes. The crispy lotus stem was one fantastic dish. not many people use the lotus in their menu offering but these guys have used it perfectly, finely cut and crispy. The prawn tempura was nice too, decent sized prawns served with sour creme and wasabi mayo. All the dishes what we tried so far were ample in portions, definitely ideal to share.
We ordered the thai green curry and grilled creme dory. The thai green curry was aromatic, emitting a beautiful small of the special herbs they use here. The Dory was nice too, the Sea bass fillet that was seasoned ginger, hill garlic, coriander all coming together to make this filler delightful.
The desserts we tried here was class apart, they have seriously worked on this to give the customers a perfect choice and all what we tried here was exceptional. The bakes youghurt was one heck of a dessert, that was not so sweet but perfect in texture and presentation. Each scoop was a pure delight. The banana caramel cake was holding on to its grounds too, another delightful serving of warm banana caramel cake with sticky coconut rice pudding.
So the overall experience was truly awesome, the service, food quality, portion size, we all top class. Moreover this was a value for money place. Try at Socialicious and you will not be dissapointed.
