Fantastic Treat
Bombay Borough at DIFC is the newly opened Indian Fine dining restaurant. They have two brands within the same vicinity. Both elegant and inviting. We had gone to the Bombay Borough during an afternoon and from the onset this was a winner from many levels. The stunning interiors that welcome you, the seating area that gives your long moments of grandeur and the service that treats you like royalty. This is a sure combination for a great Win in the daunting DIFC dining scene.
Tried the ooty sunset, which was a nice mix of elderflower, cardamom tincture, lerbs and lime, loved the taste of this wild mix. Pink city was nice too, which was a mix of guava lemongrass and raspberry, a subtle soft taste on the tounge and the Masala cola, this was their special in house blend fully spiced up cola, typical bombat fav now served in a fine setting.
The food quality was excellent, they have really made a fine offering with their perfectly curated menu. They actually state that they take you on a culinary journey of a new Indian fusion explosion. From the chutney papad which they serve on the table when you enter, aam papad paneer and kashmiri naan kebab were truly fine example of the fine offering here. They have taken care of each detail of the dishes, delivery, taste, presentation and the taste. You are surely going to want more from these master fusion makers. The banana leave wrapped Sea bass was a delicious treat, fish was soft and the aroma emitting while you unwarp the small parcel of goodness was dope.
The desserts were okay for us, flourless dark chocolate bar was nice, the sesame and jaggery crumble didn't add much grandeur for the plate and the Bombay ice creme sandwich was the only letdown for us in the whole experience.
Overall this was one fine place and will surely going to be a winner, winning over many fans who desire fine Indian Cuisine.
