Gioia is grand
Located inside the stunning Ajman Fairmont Gioia is a dining treat for anyone wanting to have a fine Italian cuisine. The interiors are stunning, elegant, as you enter the vast open kitchen welcomes you and then on the left there is bar area tucked in a corner and as you walk further you would see the beautiful outdoors. They have taken much time and effort to make the place look good, with various seating options, we chose to sit by the large glass panels overseeing the beautiful landscape outside.
They have a nice selection of cocktails, mocktail, all kinds of spirits and signature drinks. We tried a pineapple and a watermelon mocktail. Decent drinks, nice presentation. We ordered the burratina allla caprese, This was a beautiful salad, topped with extra virgin olive oil, basil leaves and all the fresh works. Good to share, loved it. My wife took the seafood soup and absolutely loved it, the whole sea food freshness was on this bowl. Clams. squid. shrimps. Highly recommend this to any one. The beef carpaicio was excellent,
For the mains we has their salmon, and their steak. Coming all the way from Norway and the steak from Australia, these were excellent, perfectly made and cooked to order. No complaints we had, as we were busy biting and enjoying the juices of these beautiful dish.
The Tiramisu was good, I was missing the strong cocoa flavours though. The creme brule was my favorite dessert amongst the two. The service was special, Yousuf was a pro when it comes to service and light banter. Even the manager was very helpful and kind. This was my first time to Fairmont Ajman, and I am surely coming again.
