Kandy Klub
One of the Sri Lankan restro pub that is slowly making a splash into the much needed segment for Sri Lankan party goers. Kandy Klub is one fine restaurant that combines a delightful Sri lankan culinary offering and a fully licensed bar along with a talent 2 piece band, which comes on to play from 9 pm onwards
Located at the busy Chealsea Plaza Hotel, where there is ample parking space and even valet, the restaurant is on the right as soon as you enter. Psychedelic colors. vibrant music, people chatter, all adding to the great time here. Started off with their Tuna balls, Pol rotti, Kadal. If you are a expert in Sri Lankan cuisine, even if not, you know in each bite or a mouth that the taste of these dishes were exceptional.
Adding to this we tried their Chicken peri peri, chicken in brown garlic, stir fried vegetable. There were about 6 in our table and all were having a good time and these dishes were giving each different flavour profile wave after wave. Their traditional rice and curry was on serving too. Their Kothu rotti was definitely a showstopper.
They have an excellent happy hour deal and some fantastic mixes. A decent sized bar and whole lot of fun. Kandy Klub is sure to rock people all night long.
