Desi Village
A desi restaurant that tries to recreate a village feel, with cook interiors and vibes that takes you back to a time where life was simple and slow. As you enter you will be treated with an expansive openness of this place, a tree on the side, colorful sofa and cushions, all gives a royal look to this place.
Started off with their desi mojito, noting wow about this but the drink was nice, loved the presentation. The starters consisted of Dahi Sholay, Aloo, Kulfi, Kebab, The presentation again was good. The portions sizes too. Loved the Dahi K Sholay and Kebab, meat was nicely done, was able to enjoy the flavours.
The mains were Tawa Subz Banjara, chicken lazeez, chicken biryani and dal tadka served with some assorted breads. The Biryani was excellent, succulent meat, perfect size, enjoyed it. Dhal was nice too. The lazeez was good too, thick gravy, excellent with the bread, one dip with the bread, getting the fingers messy was all worth it.
The Shahi tukda was nice, but for me it was a bit too sweet, but I guess it depends on each person's individual taste preferences. Overall this was a nice dining experience. The place is huge and im sure it can hold nearly150 people. Service was excellent too, freindly staff, make the place more inviting.
Parking can be an issue at times, but if you hang around a while you will get one soon.
