Fantastic Thai Restaurant

Opened recently at the Baywaters building, Khao Siam is a fantastic place to enjoy Authentic Thai food. Find this restaurant maybe a bit of a walk, but once you step in this place will embrace you with open arms. Thats how the staff welcome you, with a traditional palms joined together they welcome you.

The interiors are cool, they have a nice balance of modern and traditional look. White and beige wall with spots on green plants spread out. its clean and fresh, they have a beautiful view of the bay waters.

 We started off with their Shrimp cake, veg spring rolls and fried chicken. Well I dont know where to start, each of this dish was a treat, each different in its own right.  The fried chicken wings, man they were perfect crisp, you gotta use the hands to fully enjoy this. The sweet chilli sauce was a fine support for this dish. Well here, you gotta try their papaya salad, the spice level on this was dope. It was such a fine salad, everyone in our table just went on enjoying, while I had a shed a tear or two for the spice was rocking my senses.

The mains we ordered quite a decent spread, that included their thair red and green curry. Chicken green curry and prawns red curry, both of this served with a large portion of jasmine rice. The ingredients and the paste which is all home made, was able to capture the authentic flavours of this Thai sensational. Such a beautifully tasting dish. You gotta try the Thai style omellet with mince chicken. This was the first time for me to enjoy such a deft combination which took our tastbuds to beautiful levels.  We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes that we tried here. The place is small and can sit about 20 ppl inside, but trust me this restaurant is surely going places.

We brought the day to a closing by enjoying their sticky rice mango dessert. Loved the presentation, fine texture on the rice and the mango was almost ripe which was perfect for this dish.

Excellent service, Staff are friendly and always with a smile, even the manager was such a pleasing personality. We wish them all the best and great success for the restaurant.
