Simple, Soulful
Abu Shagara area has changed dramatically, from being a junk yard for car sales and auction houses. Now that the cars are removed from this area, the place looks prim and proper, as it's taken a short crop haircut. So this area is slowly becoming a go to place for a quick bite and a chai place. Largely wide roads, which is well lit up and has plenty of parking.
F&T restaurant is a respected place, that serves quick bites, grilled item and juices. The place is clean, well lit, people feel welcome in such a warm, busy place. Their shawarma's are something unique that doesnt come in the traditional roll, but comes in a thick pita bread that is sliced and then stuffed with a meat of our choice.
Started off with their lamb saj, and chicken saj, bite size pieces , costing between aed 5 - aed 7 dhs. Along with this we got their chicken BBQ which was aed 22, this some with a serving of fries on the side.
Flavours were good, leaning more towards the arabic spices. The portion size was good, and the service was good too. I liked this place, value for money and its a sure winner by seeing the number of people lining up to place their order here. I dont get to this area often but if im here again, this is where I will head for my guilt free eating.
