Moriz In Al Nahda

Something Nice & Affordable

Moriz in Al Nahda is in the forefront of restaurants that take customer service, ambiance, food variety and portion size to another level. The area is filled with QSR and casual restaurants and to stand out of the crowd you need to make a shout.

Shout is what they do, with their funky interiors, red lamps around the restaurants emits crimson color all around. I felt the wooden beams in between was a hindrance but apart from that it was allgood. They have a decent selection of Indian, Chinese, Arabic cuisines here. It was refreshing to see that they have taken even the drinks presentation seriously. Lemon mint, mojito, pineapple were all good, decent mix of ingredients and not too watery, nice.

The main we got the half chicken and spicy prawns as starters. The chicken was perfectly grilled with the marination soaking into the meat, went well with the garlic paste, which they serve this with. The spicy prawns was nice, would have liked  if the spice was too over powering

For the main we got the BBQ biryani, butter chicken and aloo gobi. The biryani was excellent, no doubt the best dish I tried so far here, the butter chicken was good too, felt it lacked in the portion side of it, but not taking anything away from the flavours.

So, overall this is a nice place for the whole family to enjoy some decent, flavourful culinary treat in Al Nahda. Value for money. Not wholly sold on the red colored light and the wooden panels but this is a place I will come back again.
