Lets Go Yugo Sushi

Yugo Sushi

Well, you cant keep a good thing down, no wonder these guys have opened their 2nd restaurant in the posh Al Mas Tower on the ground floor. Though its an open restaurant the wooden furniture and fixtures make it look more cozy and homely. Its a decent size set up which can hold upto 60 people is slowly creating a buzz in this area. While we were seated there, they delivered more than 10 delivery orders.

We were welcomed by Mariam who took good care of us, getting us started with our drinks of Yugo signature mocktail and watermelon ice tea. Both we really refreshing, this was the first time I had a watermelon ice tea, a gentle taste refreshing. The food served here was really good, they use good quality ingredients, especially the Salmon, Avo, Tartar was a top class dish. a triple later of avo, mango and on top salmon was well presented. This triple  delight was a winner.

Bang Bang shrimp was nice, with their spicy mix of sauce, but the sale and pepper calamari was average. It lacked the freshness I was expecting as how the other preparation was here. The Katsu curry was delicious, the thick curry and the fried chicken tenders was perfect. Crispy on the top the chicken was golden brown. The portions was good too. I enjoyed the Gyudon, a bit sweet but that's how l liked it, again good portion. The Sushi here was their main stay, Delicious, made fresh and value for money. The spicy salmon and volcanic roll were some of the best I have tried. The serving was ample for the money you pay.

Overall it was a quiet area but that was the best part too, we were fully treated to something fantastic, here you get not only Sushi but more of Japanese goodness.
