KP Rocks
A restaurant, with a lot of history opened their 2nd outlet in the post Al Seef area. Having its roots in Pakistan and then to India and across the globe and now in Al Seef. Serving a fine array of Vegetarian food, soulful and delight. The interiors are simply stunning, whoever designed it has surely got a knack of getting it all right. The color mixes, comfy sofas, light fixtures, table setting and all the works. People are made to feel, which they really do is that a sense of being in a Grandiose place.
What adds to the beauty of the place is the price you pay, which is affordable.
The service here is excellent, the lovely guys who work here take good care of you. We had a fantastic time being served by these gents. Started off with some delicious drinks, the mango juice and virgin daiquiri. The presentation of Daiquiri was classy and the drink was sweet. Then we got the pani puri which was nice.
The mains we got a few interesting dishes. The channa batura, which is their signature from the inception of KP, served with achaar and onions. The serving of this traditional treat was something I enjoyed in a long while. I will strongly recommend this to anyone and for AED 27 this was one full meal which fills you well. We further added the soya biryani and dhal bukara to our delectable table setting. The taste didn't disappoint, lovely details of the fresh ingredients, the aromatic steam from the plate, just plays havoc on your senses.
They have a delectable variety of desserts too, Rabri, with hot Jelebi, as by now we were full and was thinking twice of ordering this. But once we had this fine dish, well it was all good. Not too sweet or over powering, but just the right level of sweetness to it.
KP, has a top level where the real magic happens at night and especially over the weekend, where a live band plays melodious tunes, while the customers enjoy the signature drinks, puffing up sheesha and enjoying the lovely creek views. Again I remind you, that this place if fully worth the money you spend here.
