Dhaba Lane has been a popular brand that serves delicious North Indian cuisine for the hungry souls of Karama. The distance didnt stop them getting people from far and wide. The magic is simple, serve top delicious food, in a homely ambiance with some fantastic guys who serve everything. This combination is what I feel has kept the brand going.
So, we had recently gone here to try their new thali, which some in two varieties, Veg and of course Non veg. The veg comes in at AED 32 and the Non veg at AED 35. Sir, for these prices the food was exceptional. Not wanting to miss the non veg option, we picked that ( no brainer here)
So, the following is the items that you get here, starting with the Amuse Bouche, which is a aam ras pyala, then comes the cold starters consisting of Purani dilli Ki Papari, chaat, then followed by chicken tikka.
While you are enjoying this, next comes the colorful plate having the main players,classic chicken, tikka masala, mutton, dal, dum biryani rice and butter naan. I have to stop here, just to remind myself how wonderful, when all of this mixed, the aroma, combined flavour profiles, all excellent.
Again, I say, they keep the offering simple, no drama. but the flavours talks volumes of this place. To top the night of you gotta have to have the gulab jamun. What can I say, it was a perfect way to end an awesome evening.
The servers, head chef all were terrific guys. If I am in this area, and wanting some North Indian cuisine. I am definitely coming here.
