Cinnamon Tree

Sri Lankan Restaurant

Cinnamon Tree is the newly opened restaurant in the bustling Al Rigga area, near Al Ghurair centre.
This is a much needed outlet in this area, which has a multi national communities where each of them get to try and taste what each of their nations have as their identity.  The place looks clean, with vibrant  with colourful walls, a front cabinet that sells traditional Sri Lankan savories. Further to the back you have a separate area for a much closer set up.

Their savories consists of rolls, fish buns, veg rotties, patties, etc. The spice levels are perfect, truly brings the nostalgic feel of having these delicious items back home. The size is perfect, not too oily or too chunky,

The deviled chicken and fish was a terrific dish, lovely spicy flavours. We had this with their famous kothu rotti, we added chicken to that. The hot batter cuttle fish was another tasty offering from here. They even have a good selection for vegetarians as well. We got the veg kothu and veg chopsuey, which was greatly enjoyed by the two vegetarians in our group.

Watalappam capped off our time here which was a nice one. We enjoyed great Sri Lankan cuisine in this beautiful place. We are coming back for more. They need to keep the quality and service at the same levels for customers to truly love this place for ever.
