Pan Asian Pleasure
Located in the bustling Jumeirah area. Woks Den is one place that will take you by surprise. Dont be fooled by the simple looking place, that sits about 45 people, this place will knock your senses to the outfield. One thing you see when you step in here is the drawing of a large dragon, that intertwines in and out of the outlet, getting in to the kitchen and out through another. Dim light, gray walks give you a feel of an typical Asian hangout joint.
You can see the kitchen through the glass partition, where the talented chefs make their culinary marvel here. We started off with their cranberry orange ice team and their dragon fuel. The dragon fuel was one spicy drink that you will enjoy. For the starters we got the tom yum soup, veg momos, Mongolian chicken wings. The soup was delicious, excellent spice levels. The momos was a bit soggy when we ate, I guess it was due to the time we took to eat after taking so many pics of this. The chicken wings, needed for me to use the hands to eat, to enjoy the juices that was dripping from each bite. Food quality so far is good and the portions were excellent to share.
Veg pad thai, burnt garlic, jasmice rice and black pepper prawns. No complaints here. truly a perfect place to enjoy culinary joy of the Pan asian variety. Each dish was a perfect combination of top spices and top ingredients. The portions were extremely good, taste, well that was in another level. Truly loved the black pepper prawns, went well with the Jasmine rice. The dessert selection needed more additions as just having one was not doing any justice for such a fantastic place.They had the fried ice creme. That was okay for me but will surely wait to see more additions here.
The service is fantastic, they have a top class guys working here, you can see passion in their faces when they serve, hats off to Ria,Cathetine and Lateef for taking good care of us. We are surely coming back here for more Pan Asian cuisine.
