Japanese Top Class Cuisine
Sho Cho is a top class restaurant, located in the Souk Qariat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant that serves a fine Japanese cuisine and signature drinks, is a pretty looking one. Predominately has a color mix of white and blue, that goes well with the waterfront and the grand Mosque views on the background. They have an outdoor seating area too. The bar is fully decked with colorful bottles and varieties of syrups, ready to go into someone's glass, filled with good times.
We were here on a food tour and was able to taste some of their delicious treats. The calamari salad was a nice way to start off. Deep fried calamari, with edamame and ginger dressing. Next was their favourite sesame yellow tail seared with yuzu soy, olive oil garnished with ginger pickle and coriander. This was a nice dish which was a bit watery with the soy and olive, but all of this was giving out a great flavoure for the fish, which was thinly sliced.
The prawn spring roll was nice, perfectly fried to have that golden brown texture, great part of this was it was not oily at all. The chicken yakitori which was a nice dish, this is topped with Yakitori sauce, beautiful.
This was our first stop and we were really having a great time, The service was fantastic here, friendly staff with a smile, even the mixologist was a top class act. Thank you guys for taking good care of us.
