Food Plays An Awesome Tune

A Capella Hitting The High Notes

You need a few minutes to soak it all up, from the time you set foot in, you will know that this place is something different. The set up, color theme, the large kitchen/ bar area will make you wonder. The neatly decked glass bottles on above the kitchen area, are all a smart part of the bigger grand picture here.

The house that brought us the post Indian progressive restaurants such as Tresind and Carnival by Tresind  bring to you this brand that gives a total different  look and feel to their brand portfolio. They proudly create a brand identity by calling this " Global Tapas Bar". As the name suggests, here the kitchen and the bar, which shares the work space,  play a beautiful melody together, giving customers a fantastic night out in town.

They have focused more on the food here, keeping it real and soulful. They dont need much drama or show, Food is the main driver here. I was surprised about the price you pay for such great food. Its very reasonable. Hats off to the team of Chefs who make magic here with the spices and herbs. Chef Paritosh is  such a talented individual who simply creates magic in each these dishes. A humble soul who wants to learn and experiment with culinary art.  It was a pleasure talking to him and hearing his passion for the food, that we serves here.

I tried here very many things, Pani Purim which comes in a nice display along with Tamarind water, chickpea and potato. The get going of this was a bit messy, but tasted good. Then came the burger duo of beef and veg burger. Mushroom ketch up with stick fries supports the beef patty well. The tandoori chicken, was another beautiful dish. Totally loved the pretension and portion size,

The grab curry was a beauty, here they get fresh crabs, and get the meat and cooked it for hours to get the smooth texture of the meat. This was so delicious, and comes with malay curry and parato or rice. You love this without a doubt. The mac and cheese was another top innovation by Chef Paritosh. Traditional mac and cheese with lusty pieces of lobster and truffle. This is a dish, that shows their talent of mixing ingredients, where it tastes the pallets.

We ended the evening with Chocolate Sphere and sticky toffee pudding, The presentation of these wonderful dishes were great. Taste was spot on, not too sugary but a pure delight. Overall this was one fabulous evening that I had here. They have sheesha indoors,  live music on weekends and outdoor seating as well. The service guys here are top class, Angelo, who manages the restaurant and Alex on of his colleagues, took good care of me. made sure I enjoyed my time, which I did,
