Beautiful, Good Times
Beau Rivage at the posh Grand Millennium Hotel - at Business Bay is a beautifully designed restaurant. A fine french restaurant with a touch of fine elegance, serving a memorable experience. The interiors are well lit, posh tables that are eloquently set up. The bar in centre area is filled with colorful stuffs that are sure to give you a goodtime. The views are stunning from the restaurant. You are treated the beautiful sight of the Dubai canal that winds through gigantic buildings. Amazing.
The food here is top class, we met the Chef who took time to take us through the menu, explain in detail, about the sourcing and his cooking methods. We really appreciated the Chef taking his time to speak to the customers. We started off with the organi BRB salad, which was a mix of top quality Quinoa, wild rice, asian mix , cherry tomato. This was a beautiful dish, full of natural freshness, and tasted good.
Next we got their shrimp dynamite, which comes with siracha sauce, this adds the extra spice for the dish. They use large prawns for this dish, loved it. The next was a masterclass dish, a 12 hour cooked chicken wings. This was truly a delish as the cooking process has absorbed the special marination that that they use. soaked with BBQ sauce, this is one hit dish that you cant miss.
The main we got their famous fillet steak, asked for medium rare, I got that perfectly done dish. loved it, this comes with a few veggies and mash and pepper corn sauce. This steak, imported from the lush plains for New Zealand was a fine treat, order a cup of french redwine and you are good to go. You will love this steak, My dining partner got the seabass fillet, seeing the fillet being gobbled up by my friend, I knew this was one fine piece of fish.
The desserts we got the creme brulee, chocolate orange and rivage mess. Trust me, all of this taste good, each different in its own way. The brulee could have been a bit more hard, felt it was a bit too loose, but the taste was good. Loved the presentation on these dishes, food make into art.
Overall it was a fine experience for us, Loved the service by the staff, all friendly and helpful. This is one place I will come back to have a fine french culinary experience in town.
