They Love To Grill
From time to time, you are treated to something special, distinct, very special and fun. Back to Grills surely fits that set of qualities for a newly opened restaurant. One word, PASSION, yes, passion is what the underlying reason for the brands existence. Concept conceived, created and brought to life by three very unique individuals, who are united by the love they have for food and specially the grilled types.
The place is decent enough to sit about 20 people inside and another 20 outside, B2G is packed most of the nights, albeit its a short time since they entered local food scene. People have welcomed them with open arms. They vibe is interesting, active, the staff are always on the move but still stop for a moment to speak to the guests.
The best part is that small things that they have taken into great consideration. For example, they care for the distance of the ingredients travel from farm to fork. Almost all of their ingredients are sourced locally, enabling sustainable business practice. Nothing is frozen, meat is freshly sourced and the marination of magical mixes happens for 24 hours. The spit fire is a top hit with the customers. More importantly the pricing and the portion size is incredible. Affordable, value for money.
We tried many of their wide selection, starting off with some fresh smoothies, mango passion and banana berry, both were delicious, refreshing, natures goodness with no added sugar or any nonsense. Next we got their melon and berry feta salad, a fine fusion of watermelon cubes, with feta cheese and balsamic reduction. A perfect balance of salt and sweet, equalized by the balsamic. Next was the salsa fries, peri peri spiced fries, that just heats up your palate, pure delight for the spice lovers.
The spit roast chicken is their signature giving, they wont tell you what goes into the terrific serving of poultry pride. You just shut up and dig in, use your hands.. yes use your hands.. smell the aroma of the spices and the freshness of the chicken. This was highly recommend by the wonderful folks at B2G and now after tasting it, I now tell you, try this awesomeness. My dining partner chose the protofino seared prawns, the sauce, which comes from the famous fishing region, mastered, perfected the sauce and exported all over the world, so now we can enjoy it thru this fantastic dish.
Man, the treat goes on and on here, and you cannot leave this place without trying their delicious dessert, so here we go, starting with grilled peach melba and tangerine baked yoghurt. Well what can I say..simply exceptional taste, made to perfect balance of sweetness and served with love.
Enough said, trust me, these guys are special and it shows in the whole experience. from the time you step in, till the time you are ready to walk out. This is a place, where you can bring your family and friends for a special night out in town. These guys serve from their heart.
