Indo Chinese Magic
Truly one of the fine restaurant in Al Nahda area, which is an area where you get an unconstrained level of restaurants serving a plethora of cuisines. The interiors, furniture, wall hangings, color themes, all have been meticulously selection and mixed to give a grand look for the restaurant. You can easily sit about 100 plus people here. They even have a separate area for family / or a for parties.
I started with their Lemon mint mojito, that was nice, refreshing, the mint flavour was a bit strong but I didn't mind that, it cleared my taste buds as well. There was a wide variety to choose from for the starters, and oh the selection was both from India and Chinese cuisine. The Prawn koliwada was a nice dish and this comes highly recommended. There was about 8 decent sized pieces served with a nice salad. Next I was recommended the chicken skewers, which had 4 types of chicken is fantastic four different varieties of marination. These were large chunks of chicken and was good to share with four people. You dont stop with one, I couldn't stop with one. This was one heck of a skewer.
I wanted to order from the Chinese selection for the main, so I got the Schezwan fried rice and Chicken manchurian. This was a delicious combination and the portion size was good enough for 3 adults. Loved the fried rice, the aroma and each ingredients used into this was a delicious treat.
Kudos to the chefs team to putting out such a top dish.
The evening ended with a sizzling brownie ice creme. The server so gently poured the chocolate sauce over the ice creme which was on a square shaped brownie. The sizzling noise and the sweet smell of the simmering ice creme was beautiful. Masala Wok was a great treat for me. Peter was a gentle server, I loved his passion for the service, he made sure that I was having a good time.
Masala Wok is one fine restaurant for the whole family.
