Datu Club Is A Class
The newly opened club at the posh Sofitel Downtown is a great entrant to the posh and trendy Filipino club. The place is typical for large club. They have a huge bar in the middle of the club and later on when the going gets hot, the dancers get on the counter top and do their well practiced dance moves.
They have a decent selection of food and beverages on offer and the prices are quite reasonable for a place like this. We tried the butternut scotch and rocca salad was a delicious way to start here, along with the fried Halloumi cheese and buffalo wings. The fried cheese was good. The buffalo wings I felt was a bit salty, but that with a dip of the blue cheese was perfectly balanced.
For the main we got the pork belly, one word delish. The dessert we had bread pudding with ice creme. Both of these dishes were top quality and I was impressed to have this served at the place which is mainly a Club. They have done their homework in selecting a perfect balance here.
The service was good, all the guys here were in good spirits and helpful.
We had a great time here, We will surely bring our friends here next time for a awesome time out in town.
