You want something interesting in the line of Thai cuisine, street food refined and classy, amazing flavours of Thai wonders then  Mango tree is your place. Located at the Hilton JBR, they opened recently and its slowly becoming a popular go to place. Seeing from the crowd last weekend its very evident that Mango Tree is growing beautifully.

How they serve here is different, in the sense of not the usual salad, starter, main, rather these comes in sharing plates. You get seafood, chicken and beef varieties, each holding on its own profile. They perfected the use of spice and herbs from each region of Thailand. The interiors are beautiful, loved the color mixes, gives a beautiful asian bistro feel. The terrace seating is ideal for the cool weather which we enjoy these days, but during summer it will be another story.

We ordered their fresh drinks/ mock tails Along with the amazing food they have an impressive selection of beverages too. The mango tango and Kiwi berry, delicious mix. The evening got off to our Thai food journey by ordering the chicken wings, fried calamari, and from the flatbread selection we got the duck breast red curry. To be honest all of these had their own flavours, no two were the same. The ingredients used was fresh, you can get the natural aroma in these dishes. Portions were good to share. The sauteed garlic prawn was one fine dish.

We got a bit greedy wanting to try more so we ordered their signature Thai green curry - Chicken and another famous Thai jungle curry. These were fantastic. First time for me to  try a jungle curry, which is typically how they age in toe jungle, using whatever the leaves and herbs that they get in the surrounding and notably without coconut milk. This was one spicy dish, sensational. I loved it. Thanks to the guys for recommending this.

The dessert we got the thai street ice creme and sweet mango sticky rice. unfortunately the sticky rice was a let down but the Thai ice creme with its delicious toppings made this a desirable one.

Mango tree is going to stay here for a long time. People will surely love this place. The staff are amazing here. This is definitely the place for Thai food lovers backed with an impressive selection of Licensed beverages.
