Jones The Grocer At Dubai Mall

They opened their sixth outlet in the majestic Dubai Mall, by non most of the foodies in Dubai have heard about Jones the Grocer, from their humble beginnings in Sydney, Australia from the mid 90s to now, well they have come a long way. Having a solid foot print in over 7 countries, this brand is surely going places. They are know for their best produce, fresh ingredients and food that touches your soul, they even boldly say that their restaurant is ' Food for Everyday Living'.

The outlet in Dubai mall is elegant and neatly designed. They dont have any over the top elements, but what ever style there is highlights the brand well. The outdoor seating is a bonus here and the view of the Dubai skyline and the Dubai fountain view is magical.

The food served here is top quality, they have a top team of chefs who put out their best dishes all the time. The roasted caramelized spicy nuts took us by surprise. If you expect something gentle on your lips, well you will be mistaken. This was really hot.. doesn't burn but the kick is strong. The burrata board was nice, fresh home made buratta, which had cherry tomatoes, candied nuts all topped with balsamic glaze. The spicy prawns was not spicy for our pallets, was expecting more from this one. The wagyu croquettes was a delight, nice bite sized balls, each having a delicious flavour and the sirachha aioli was equally good.

Next was the Grill steak salad, this was beautifully a Jones the grocer signature dish. This had char grilled artichoke, avocado, roasted cashew, salad leaves, shallots, cumin and other few fresh ingredients. All the individual flavours come in a beautifully set piece for us to enjoy and enjoy we did of this fantastic dish. Hats off to this one.

The selections of main was excellent, we had the grilled Atlantic Salmon, the cardamon chicken kebab was another fine dish. The marination of the chicken was perfect, they have used cardamom so eloquently to give that unique flavour. The dry aged black Angus was a star dish. Succulent, juicy, what makes this special is their home made dry rub, Splendid.

The desserts were a plenty and we enjoyed a few, despite a fully tummy. The chocolate cake and meringue tart was delicious.  They have a dedicated section for the desserts, they have cakes and much more. All made in house and the quality is top class. One thing what you see here is quality uncompromised. They use the best ingredients to make the customers happy. You pay for good quality product and I guess thats why people always choose Jones'. We had a good time and glad that they are opening many outlets to treat people something special, something beautiful and affordable.
