One Fantastic Experience
This is fresh off the blocks, opened at the magnificent Bluewaters development. These guys have take the art of serving the best surf and turf to the next level. Starting with the fonts they use to brand and the word play that makes the brand and the cute design of the the smiling Bull and the Lobster is a chic touch. This shows that these guys are not out dated, but they stay current and relevant. The outlet is well designed and they showcase their prized catches in the tank, top quality catch. They have the semi curved open kitchen which is covered by glass so the smoke from the wood fire grill doesn't seep out the experience.
The food here is a pure joy to enjoy. The use of ingredients are terrific. We started off with a Lobster bisque, This was thick and full of the lobster flavour, with a dab of pepper this was unstoppable. Next we got their Dynamite shrimp was top class spicy. They have their Chef's special on this. This was wow, your taste buds burns a slight but that's what the joy is all about having a dynamite shrimp. The shrimp and avocado salad was a very good mix of ingredients. fresh garden leaves, sliced corn, large prawns, serenade this beautiful dish. This some with a house dressing of lemon but I would have preferred a tad bit kick from the Balsamic dressing.
Next was the two dishes that I confidently say that these guys can give a good run for other surf and turn joints in this area. Guess I didn't impress here much but hear this, These guys have some of the best seafood and steak variety. Undoubtedly one of the few places I can recall but these guys take it to another whole level. The beef is from USA, best grains fed prime cuts and the seafood from US and Canada. Scintillating, I ordered the spare ribs and half lobster and for AED 250 this was a steal. The beef has been smoked for over 9 hours and the lobster, well that was prime quality. They served with two sides and two sauces. I fell in love with this, the taste was outstanding and magical. Guess what, the Seafood platter. This too was such a fantastic platter. You get king fish steak, calamari, prawns, mussels, and Canadian lobster. This was worthy of take a bow category. Magnificent flavours. The price of these beauties here is reasonable. Top quality produce at truly value added prices. You will be surprised to see the prices for such a place, Beautiful.
Kudos to the team of Chefs here, who are passionate and do their magic with the marination, spices & herbs and the grilling. Such a perfect combination, which I am sure will soon get the attention of the true foodies who love good quality seafood and steak. The service was beautiful here, the whole team was so friendly and always with a smile. Ashley and Toufiq were such a delight.
