Fine Seafood Place

Seafood Love In Al Barsha

Al Hadaq is a newly opened Seafood restaurant in Al Barsha, there are many other restaurants in this stretch and they are the only place that offer the fine fare of the sea. Walking inside you will be easily transported into a quaint fisherman's shack. Perfectly decorated with seafaring themes, ropes, invertedly  hung wooden boat, sea themed decorations and wall pictures.

They have decent set up, filled with turquoise and wood theme. They have an area with  ground level seating, setting more of a local atmosphere or the traditional way how families ate and enjoyed good food and each others company.

We started  our seafood tasting journey by having their seafood soup, this was their popular dish, lovely strong broth and decent sized meat inside. Sprinkles some pepper and then we are good to go. Loved this. Next was the Seafood Salad,  fresh leaves, topped with prawns, calamari, crab meat, with a squeeze of lemon juice, adds more favour.

Next we had the fried mix seafood. This was another popular dish, which had samosa, fish eggs fried and a fish croquettes.  The samosa could have been a tad bit better on flavour I felt, but apart from that I loved this.

Next was the Biryani Robyan, this is one fantastic dish that I loved here. The prawns were quiet large, cooked well, the rice was a wonderful mix of ingredient and spices, a popular dish with the locals. Along with this, we had the seabream fried. While this had a few bones which we needed to be careful of but the meat was delicious.

Overall I would say this is a great place to enjoy good seafood, leaning more towards the local flavours and herbs & spices, the food quality is good and portion size is not bad. If your looking for a place to enjoy a good time out with family for seafood, Al Hadq is a good  place for to you enjoy.
