The Marina Cubes is the new place to open by the quiet waterfront of  Port Rashid. Interesting all the restaurants there are made in renovated and rejigged 40 foot containers. Such a beautiful setting that Dubai is synonymous for. The views of  yachts and power boats are the shoe piece that serenade your eyes.

Desi mama is one such place in the Marina cubes, simple soul food. Serving a variety if cuisine from all over India. Its a cozy shack feel on the inside and they have an outdoor seating as well. I had gone there during one of the few raining days.

I had ordered their Egg parata and Chai. The combination was lovely for this weather. Egg parata was nice, fresh. Trust me, the feel of having these on such a day was magical
