Introducing Linner - A Unique Experience
I was taken back by the name Linner, first I didn't get it but later I understood. It was unlike the Brunch which is a link between Breakfast and Lunch, here they continue where the Lunch left off.
Linner is a unique combination of Lunch and Dinner. Marriott Courtyard had moved the milepost on this one. Such a unique concept, ideal for the lazy Dubai'ans who want to stretch their Friday mornings till late into the noon. Linner starts at 3.30 pm and goes on till pm. Wow.. Brilliant, Excellent.
Need to say the beauty of this place. Cucina, is your one of a kind Italian restaurant, well designed, wooden furniture, ample natural light and the waterfront, which gives the Venice feel here. Many dont know that such a place exists in Dubai. Stunning views and peaceful ambiance.
One of the many added beauty of this place is that you dont need to get out of your seats to serve your food. The food is served at your table, no hassle. The welcome drinks are served to you and once you sit and pick from the 3 available package, relax sit back and see the fun begin. First they serve the starters which consists of grilled Octopus, Caprese, Aranchini, mixed seafood. The Italian names are beautiful to pronounce but the food quality is impeccable. The fried mix seafood and vegetables and the Grilled Octopus was magical, full of flavours, honestly have not tried such two beautiful dishes in a long while.
The Pasta selections came next, which consisted of Beef bacon,Mushroom risotto, Prawn ravioli. These dishes were really good, way better than many Italian restaurants around. The use of Ingredients and the fresh produce all come in a beautiful way to give out amazing flavours in each bite. Felt the Ravioli was a bit hard but the meat inside was delicious. The lobster bisque sauce was a perfect compliment to the dish.
These were good enough and was slowly filling us up, but guess what... more was yet to come. The mains which consisted of Stuffed chicken leg, Braised Lamb shank, baked seabass and baked polenta. These dishes were fantastic. I didn't enjoy the stuffed chicken, guess the olive leaves and capers were putting me off a bit. The lamb shank was a hit, It was massive, In another restaurant will easily price that at about 100 AED, but here you get this and then they add a perfect fillet of Seabass which comes with green beans. Total hands down for these amazing delivery.
Adding more to this, You get a decent selection of dessert. Not a huge variety but a perfect selection. I loved the Tiramisu and the passion panacota. This is not all, they even have a kids activity area, where the kids get to draw, make pizza, donning their overalls and chef's hat. This keeps the kids occupied while the adults enjoy their time.
The service is one special element here, all the staffs were friendly, having a genuine smile and always ready to help. Angealy took real good care of us, We were totally made welcome and felt at home.
This is one supper place for the family to come and enjoy, The food, service and the views are priceless. Here you will feel like a Royal and you would want to stay longer here as well. Thank you guys for the great experience, We are surely coming back.
