Zen Is Back
This is truly a dream place for foodies who love Street food and that too Pan Asian. Zen opened their second outlet in JLT and they aptly call it the food court as they easily court 3 different types of Cuisine under one roof. The atmosphere is rustic, smokey and sweet smelling. Lots of chatter and noise from the open kitchens are never low. All adds to the authentic feel of a true street food eatery.
The Thai green curry with rice was nice. They have in true, carried the Thai green curry favours as it should be, decent sized chicken served on rustic bowls, nice. The Szechwan chicken wonton was a nice swerving of about 7 pieces. The Sesame prawn toast was a lavish spread of Prawn paste and on a thick slices of bread.
The dessert was perfect and end to a fantastic street food experience. The famous sticky rice mango. Lovely, sweet the added fun was the crispy mung dhal which was decently sprinkled on the ripe mango slice.
Overall, experience was great, loved the ambiance, sitting out side in this cool climate and being served these fine food is pure bliss. Come and enjoy the good times here
