Chalet Berezka - A Special Place
I recently visited this majestic looking restaurant, it was during the festive seasons and man, the place was lit up to the season. Colourful ornaments, lovely Christmas trees, silver, gold mix of decorations with red poinsettia plants, all make this place look majestic. They have to levels and the view from both level is fine but from the upper deck its priceless. The view, well its crystal blue waters and the unique Atlantis The palm. The pale orange colors with the blue waters in the fore, well this is priceless. You will not get this view from any other place, by now I am sold on the beauty of this place.
To start our central Asian culinary journey we got the Cheburek with Lamb, soft lamb pieces, in a large soft pastry cover. The herbs in this dish makes all the difference to other such pies. Loved it.
The spicy prawn salad was one of the best salad combination that I have tried, really lovely, the avocado cuts and the spicy falvours all make this dish fine.
The spicy prawn tempura was definitely living it up to the name. So far what I have tried here has been amazing. The food quality and the presentation has been excellent
The mains we got the Salmon with Ginger dressing and crispy mushroom. Top quality fish this, with a perfectly seared skin, the crispy mushroom was like a two lawyer potato chip. I took the grilled tiger prawns. Yet another fine delivery by these guys. loved it. I would have liked something on the side to compliment the dish, maybe that's something they can look into this.
Topping the fine afternoon was the Napolean, which was a fine strawberry custard layers withing the soft puff pastries. This one was definitely showing of north Asian flavour touches. This was easily finished in no time as it was that good.
You will surely have a good time here, you may feel the the price to a high. but to be honest if you see in the menu its averagely priced for posh waterfront area. The service is done with a genuine smile. The restaurant will embrace you with its open arms to show off what its got here. So, take a chance, visit these guys. You will surely love it.
