Masala Craft - Crafting Wonderful Dishes
Yet another fine restaurant in the Century Village area, again, serving the ardent foodies of Dubai for over 18 years. What ever they do, seems to be working, yet another sign on a restaurant that has kept true to its roots, yet have experimented new offerings with the changing consumer patterns and have done it well.
Ideal spot for an awesome afternoon brunch and that was what we did last weekend. The Friday brunch is perfectly priced at AED 75. They serve the Panni puri in shot glasses and modern take by many restaurants recently. A refreshing way to start your food journey here. For starters you dont have to get up and go, they come to you and serve you a fine started platter of both Veg and Non Veg. The malai paneer and Onion bhajia were really nice, not too oily and each bite surely gives out fresh flavours of the ingredients. For the Non veg starters they had Achari murg, shammi kebab and Amritsari machli was a nice addition to this. We loved the taste of the fish, perfect marination and fried to perfection.
There was a section for Salads as well, which had samosa chaat, sev papadi and a few others, I took a spoonful of each as I didnt want to fill my tummy, the main spread was something that I gotta get my hands on now.
The hot buffet had Veg and Non Veg items on the menu, Veg pullav, aloo banarsi, paneer hara and moong dhal masala were all lined up for our tasting. There was a hot naan at hand as well. The non veg had Chicken tikka biriyani, chicken thariwala, fish masala and Laal mass. Trust me, for the amount you pay for these wonderful spread is fully worth it. The ingredients are fresh and they have not compromised on anything. Masala craft just wants their customers to have a good time and we really had a good time here.
The Desserts were nice too, there was Tiramisu, Halwa, Kulfi, all of this made in house and fresh. Loved the top quality Tiramisu and the Kulfi, while I am not a big fan ( sorry guys) the rest in our table enjoyed it all.
The service here was good, Malki was a charming personality who kept us serving well and all of it with a smile. Excellent time we had at Masala craft and guess what, We are heading there next Friday as well with some friends. See you guys soon :)
