QDs- which stands for Quarter Deck is one of the finest restaurants in the Garhoud area, faithfully serving patrons for over many years. Located inside the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht club the restaurant set perfectly by the creek front. The view is stunning and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The current weather is ideal to visit this place. Recently we were invited to taste their new menu addition.

It was a pleasant  weather and the evening got off to the a fresh start by having their Butter crunch mocktail, milk based drink, taste was okay for me. Then the starters kept coming. The quinoa fattoush was a fine salad. All fresh ingredients and freshly cut and topped with pomegranate and fresh leaves. Good portion and wonderful taste.

Next was the  Dynamite shrimp, this was definitely a dynamite, top on spice levels, even with the soft gentle breeze the heat was strong, but I loved the taste of these shrimps. Then we got the arabic sampler which had  hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, with pickles with fresh arabic bread. A perfect addition which gives a taste of all main must haves in a arabic starter platter. The ingredients used were fresh and the taste was equally good. The crispy fried chicken was lovely, gentle tender strips perfectly fried comes with a nice sauce to dip, which gives an additional tangy touch to the dish.

Mains consisted of grills, QDs mix grill which had lamb kofta, shish taouk, lamb chop and beef kebab. All of these meat were perfectly marinated, grilled to perfection and all of these were holding their own flavours which was profound. The meat in itself was fresh, I didn't have a complaint here.
Then we tried the  seafood mix grill platter, which had prawns, hammour steak, grilled salmon and sea bream. These sea beauties were served with lemon butter sauce which was fantastic. Again the whole platter was magical.

The dessert was a mix of fruit platter, apple pie and tiramisu cake, out of this the winner for me was the Tiramissu. Overall, it was a fantastic time here. The place has got its own magical charm, wonderful vibe and top class service. A shout out to Chris and Sarath who were fantastic and they made our time here magical. Thank you guys.
