A Splendid Experience

Nurai in now synonymous, may be its due to the high rating on Zomato or due to the positive word of mouth and anything in between, this place is one Top place. Maybe the food or Shisha or the ambiance or the service or even the skyline & waterfront views, This is one magnificent place, people love this. When you step in you will be wowed by the sheer look and the interiors, they have two levels and a separate area divided for Sheesha smokers. Sheesha is another key selling point here, this was very visible the day we went and that too in the afternoon, Smoking side was packed. This is such a hotspot and the real connoisseurs of fine food, Lebanese and Mediterranean  cuisine is what served here and the name derived from the Arabic for " White Moon".



We were here with some friends and all of us got to taste something amazing here, we started off with the drinks, being a passionate Strawberry man I went for the Strawberry and Mango mix, fresh and perfect sweet. Loved it, loved the color breakdown as it looked good on the photo. Then we started off with the cold mezzah and salads. The Hommose and Tabbouleh was good, solid texture on the hommose, not too soft and the tabbouleh was tangy as usual. The ingredients were fresh and you could get the individual taste of them, nothing too overpowering the other. The Dragon salad was a monster hit, the portion size was massive and once set upon the table, we started to dig in. This was a fine mix of crispy tortilla, fine chicken peices, lettuce, avocado slices, corn and this was magic. Loved, amazing flavours, this dish was a winner for me, wonderful flavours. Next was the spicy chicken wings and Sir, this was really a kicker, solid size wings marinated and then soaked in buffalo sauce. This one you can have  continuously and the light spices make your mouth salivating for more.

For the main we got the  Kebab platter, Nurai mix platter and Mix grill. The Kebab was excellent, with perfect marination and grill time but felt the size could have been better. The mix grill had skewers of  Beef, lamb and chicken. Again an excellent dish with amazing individual flavours but here felt the sized were a bit small. The texture, quality of ingredients, process were all top notch, you cant get any better than these. The Nurai mix platter was fantastic, you had a wide mix of friend calamari, chicken tenders, prawns, cheese sticks, garlic bread. Loved everything minus the calamari as I couldn't get much flavours out of it, but the overall dish was fantastic.

Next It was time for some dessert and here we had crepe fettuccine, Profiteroles, Chocolate lava cake and their signature Lebanese Ghazal. The crepe fettuccine was a miss for me and the Profiterole was a missing some good filling inside. The lava cake was really good, was not too gooey inside and my favorite was  the Ice creme Ghazal. Try this and you will be surprised.

Overall, It was a fantastic dining experience here. The service was fantastic as the staff were well attentive, even the manager who kept checking on us. This is truly a place that deserve the accolades that it had received so far and I wish that this will be one of the finest restaurants in Dubai for a very long time. I was pleased and heart was full and this means I am definitely coming back again.
