A Locally Grown Burger Brand
Undoubtedly one of the best casual restaurants that I visited recently. Located at the relatively new Dar Al Wasl mall. She burger is one happening place. We went there on Wednesday around 8 pm and that place was packed and we were told that after 10 pm, the place gets crazier. It was nice to see the local customers patronizing this place, loved the vibes here. Simple design but surely highlights the a typical american diner. Loved the seating arrangements and the distribution of light, perfect balance. We all can be proud of the fact that this is a wholly locally borne concept and someone from the Royal blood is at the top, giving her seal of approval on this. This is a terrific concept which I have no doubt will grow.
Simple menu, we ordered the pink tiki tiki, which was an excellent mix of orange, pineapple and rose tea, topped with edible flowers and small cherries. Loved the mix of ingredients. To start we got the crispy beef, Holy grail. mac n cheese and just eat me. To sum it all up, these were simply amazing, great flavours and unique tastes, right now, while writing this, its mouth watering. The holy grail was fine starter and the presentation was outstanding, literally. Crispy fried potato, bacon, cheese, beetroot, standing tall, fantastic. The crispy beef on mash potato was great, perfectly fried in some special sauce and set on a bed of mashed potato, winner. The prawns, with cut pieces of pineapple was another terrific dish. Honestly I can say any negatives here. The mac cheese, surely got the kids going gaga over it.
Next we tried 4 types of burgers, all home made, hand made, with special ingredients mixed, each burger was different. You can really get the taste of fresh beef, its not processed, no over powering taste. It was all fine. We loved it. Felt the burger sizes can be a bit bigger, but apart from that. We loved everything here.
For desserts we got a deconstructed cheese cake and a caramel/ chocolate cake with a scoop of ice creme on top. Both the desserts were good, the cheese cake didnt have the biscuit base but the taste was good. Not too sweet and the whole family was able to enjoy a piece of them both.
Need to mention the friendly staff at this joint, it showed passion and commitment. Led from the top and well managed by Yesu, who was a running the show, talking to the customers, and engaging passionately. Arosh, was very helpful and served us well throughout the evening. Many elements will surely take me back there and the customer service is one sure factor. We loved our experience, will surely see you all again soon.
