Ginza Cafe RAK

Took Me By Surprise

One hidden gem in the Mina Al Arab area. I loved the interiors here, great work done, white brinks and light shades of turquoise, the view of the sea is fantastic, with alresco dining this is one beautiful place. Had gone here for their Iftar and for AED 60, this was a fantastic offer,

Started with the lentil soup, which was nice, a bit thick but it was enjoyable, comes with a long bread stick. Then you get the Meza, tabbouleh, fattoush, bread, pickles and more, perfect. flavours were good, I would have liked the cucumber to be cut into a bit smaller slices on the fattoush, apart from that it was fresh and tasted good. For the main, the chicken curry with rice was excellent, it comes with a sweet mango chutney, That mix of all in one bite was really good, the chutney was making a huge difference. The Infused lamb mince was good but the portion size I felt was a bit smaller.

They made a few mocktails for us, they were really good. The mixologist was a true artist. One thing which I need to mention here is the Sheeha, I am told they have a mix of 300 varieties of sheesha, Iv not heard anyone having such a wide variety and they even said that people from Dubai come to enjoy their specialty sheesha. Here was the first time I saw a lady serving sheesh, as usually it was done by men. The staff here are well trained and smart and all of them are from Russia. Veronica, was a pleasing personality, who made sure that we had a good time at the restaurant.

They have live screening of matches and this is going to be of the busiest restaurants in this area. well done guys.
