A Lebanese Fare
A beautifully designed restaurant, in the heart of JBR walk. Al Maeda is the place to be for all this Lebanese, Arabic cuisine. The restaurant is perfectly lit and the natural back light gives a touch of exuberance when you are here. The dividers with plants built it and the wooden theme furniture and fixtures are all in sync. They have a separate area for Shisha where they have two large screens showing the footy at the moment. They even have a separate area for the Bar as well.
To start we ordered the Lemonmint cooler and thr Grand rosa. Both drinks were good, fresh. To start we got the fattoush, beetroot moutbel, hummus. We loved it all. fresh flavours, ingredients were great, loved the presentations too. The beetroot mutable was lovely. We got the calamari as well. but that was not great as to the standards of the rest.
The main course we had shish taouk, Lamb kofta. Both these were fantastic. perfectly marination and grilling. The smokey flavours, along with the flavours of the meat was sensational. It had two skewers each, honestly I would have liked one more skewer as it was that good.
For the Dessert we had chocolate mouse and the basbosa cheese cake. The latter was to my liking, and the presentation was nice too,not to sweet but perfect. Chocolate mouse was good, no complaints, but the cheese cake was the winner for me,
We really loved the experience here, Sumit was taking good care of us throughout the evening. It was such a pleasure to be looked after by him. We are definitely heading coming back for more Al Maeda magic.
